Aims

The aims of this course are to teach students the basics of health and safety, anatomy and physiology in relation to this course.

We will also cover the background, benefits, treatments, consultation, contra-indications, contractions, after care, equipment and products needed. The student will also learn the movements and techniques required to perform a professional treatment.

Objectives

The objectives of this course are that by the end of the course the students will be able to perform a professional treatment in a safe and hygienic manner and in a commercially acceptable time. Along with experience of carrying out a consultation with the knowledge of the background, benefits, consultation, contra-indications, contra-actions, after care, equipment and products needed.
